After an 11-year losing streak, the Beavers have done it– They finally came out as champions.
The California Institute of Technology beat Bard College of New York, 81-52, in their Saturday night NCAA basketball game.
This was one big win– A win ending a 207-game NCAA Division III losing streak since 1996, according to the Associated Press.
“We expected to win a game, but not like this,” Caltech coach Roy Dow told the AP.
Is Dow referring to the outcry of support from fans and even the opposing team? Take a look at the celebration, which ensued as a losing team turned into inspirational winners.
