Spain Rules Europe Once More

Spain is, once again, the best team in Europe.  This past Sunday, Spain beat Italy 4 to 0, claiming the 2012 Euro Cup Title.  This has been a remarkable run for Spain and something that no other team has accomplished before.  Starting off with a one-goal lead, Spain had a winning streak of 70 games.  The victory marked Spain’s third straight win at a Major Tournament Title.  In addition, they were the first team to repeat victoriously at the Euro Cup.

Though Italy made strong moves, Spain was just too much. They succeeded with their short passing and creative moves and sealed the deal with the shots on goal.

They scored their first goal at the 14th minute and never looked back, scoring another one right before halftime.  I can’t wait to see if Spain can capitalize on their dream season with the gold medal at the Olympic summer games in London.

Who do you think will take the gold this summer?  Comment below.
