It’s official! The 19 year old Hannah Montana starlet, is engaged to her 22 year old star of The Hunger Games and long-term boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth The two met while filming The Last Song back in 2009 and have been dating ever since. There have been rumors circulating about an engagement for a while now, but Miley has officially released a statement to PEOPLE Magazine saying “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.” Liam proposed to Miley on May 31 with a 3.5-carat ring from Neil Lane; Miley tweeted “life is beautiful” Wednesday morning, but has not made any further comments about her engagement via twitter. Miley is back in the studio to record her fourth album while her new fiancee is busy filming his new movie “Empire State” in New Orleans.
