Career Comes First For Little Girl

Career before marriage– That’s this 5-year-old’s message.  And I hear her loud and clear.  Perhaps this mindset (especially at such a young age) is why women have been gaining ground in employment and in education.

This young girl’s goals clearly reflect the findings of the White House’s most recent report on women. According to the report, women have certainly gained when it comes to employment and education today, but there is still room for improvement.

Although more women than men attend college, enroll in graduate school, and make up 61% of the labor-force, a woman’s salary is still only 75% as much as their male counterparts.

Maybe this little one’s next video will be show her lobbying for equal pay?  What do you think about the White House report?
