“Winter blues” usually means a lack of exercise, not getting enough sunshine outdoors and staying huddled under a fleece blanket just waiting for warm weather to come– Well, that’s what it means for me anyway.
With spring just two-weeks away (Woot woot!) I’m getting more motivated to start running again. When I run, I usually carry a bottle of water with me. I know– Gasp! I carry a plastic bottle of water that I use only once? I’m a terrible, horrible person and Mother Nature hates me.
It’s time to mend my relationship with “mom” and to start considering her feelings during my daily jog (which turns into a “walk”– Who am I kidding?). I have to cut back on the waste (and on the money I spend) to quench my thirst.
The bobble includes a carbon filter that filtrates your water as you drink. So, just fill your bottle from the tap, sip and you’re good. The filters only have to be changed every 2 months, according to the manufacturer’s website.
The bobble ranges in price from $8-$12 (depending on size) and replacement filters are about $7.
It’s affordable and simple to use. Picking up a bobble at the bookstore and taking a run seems like the perfect way to get back on “mom’s” good side, don’t you think?
