We’re all guilty of running late once in a while. Whether we wake up late, miss the bus or just plain lose track of time, it can be difficult to find an outfit that doesn’t make us look like a hot mess. Personally, sweats are my default on lazy days, but I realize they’re not always the most flattering. So, when time itself is running faster than you are, consider this as your go-to look. And for those of you already wearing this ensemble on a regular basis– rock on.
Pants of Choice? So Low
A more flattering alternative to traditional sweatpants, So Low yoga pants offer the same comfort with a chic feel. They’re available in a wide variety of designs and styles, including looks that sport your school pride! With an adjustable waistband, you get to decide how high or low you want to wear them. For those who prefer not to don such form fitting shapes, there are many options with a wider pant leg. The brand also sells skirts and shorts which are perfect for the warmer days ahead, too. Best part is, you don’t have to trek to Bloomie’s or the mall to get a pair. You can score a pair right on-campus at the bookstore.
Tank Is the Word
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: school pride is always in style on campus. Whether there is a big game coming up or a lull in events, you can’t go wrong with a tee or tank emblazoned with your logo or mascot. Be the first on campus to rock the newest design and turn your last-minute outfit into an envy-worthy conversation piece.
A Good Hair Day
When it comes to hair, most of us tend to spend a considerable amount of time making sure every strand is perfectly in place…or at least not sticking out at a weird angle. That’s why we love headbands! And scünci makes a No-Slip Grip line so your headbands don’t A) slip out of your hair or B) give you a massive headache. Plus, they are super affordable, a major plus in a college student’s life. Just tousle your hair, throw it up into a messy bun and slip on a headband. You’re good to go.
Pretty Right Down To Your Feet
College is all about being prepared for any situation that may come about, so on days when you are rushing to be on time, stick to a basic sneaker. Not only will your feet and legs be well supported as you are racing to class, but you’ll also be ready for an impromptu trip to the gym or for a stroll around campus when class lets out.
Accessories Complete the Look
When I’m pressed for time, I don’t always think to add something to personalize my outfit– to make it more unique. But, I’ve found that keeping a scarf or a pair of earrings in my bag allows me to spice up my look on the run. Why not throw on an infiniti scarf, a chunky bracelet or metallic ring? Find some great accessories like these that match your So Lows when you stop at the bookstore.
