October is here and it’s dressed in pink!

For more than 25 years, October has been designated Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Aside from skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women and the second cause of cancer-related death after lung cancer. According to nbcam.org, there are over 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today.

To raise awareness and to help women fighting the disease, Barnes & Noble College will donate $1, up to $10,000, to the Young Survival Coalition for every fan who uses their pink ribbon as their Facebook profile picture in October!
