Last night I came across a new indie artist on YouTube, Masha, and I was immediately blown away by the emotion in her voice. She has a very interesting voice, reminiscent of Alanis Morissette. The first song I heard her sing was a cover of “Where Have You Been” by Rihanna and – right away – I got the chills. On her YouTube channel, Masha also covers songs by Paramore, The Wanted, Adele, and Lana Del Rey. What’s special about Masha is she can take a song and make it her own (not many artists can do that). She already has millions of views and over ten thousand subscribers to her YouTube channel.
She has been recently working on her debut album with world-renowned singer/songwriter Claude Kelly, who has worked with artists including Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Lambert! This is one upcoming artist that I’m betting will be the next superstar. She has the looks, the voice, and the talent to back it up. Can’t wait for debut album to come out! Please check out her Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter!
What is your Favorite Masha YouTube cover? If you have any please post on the bottom!
