Four Steps to a Better Smile

Whether you’re looking for a new Facebook profile picture or just want to make a good impression at your next dentist appointment (yikes), there are plenty of reasons to brighten your smile. The best part? It’s not difficult or expensive! Get ready to flash those pearly whites – with our easy steps, you won’t be able to STOP smiling.

Step One: Brush frequently and correctly. Work brushing into your morning and evening routines. Start off the day with fresh breath and go to sleep with clean teeth! When you brush, don’t just swish back and forth. Moving the toothbrush in tiny circles will remove more plaque and build up.

Step Two: Floss, floss, floss! Flossing helps prevent cavities, aids in gum health, and alleviates bad breath (gross). Need I say more?

Step Three: Grab a straw. When you drink through a straw, it acts as a barrier between the beverage and your teeth. Beverages, especially sugary sodas or juices, tend to erode tooth enamel and cause tooth decay. Put a stop to the damage with something as simple as grabbing a straw!

Step 4: Visit the dentist. I know, I know…this isn’t what you want to hear. However, visiting the dentist every six months will ensure that your smile is in tip-top shape. Why not protect one of your best assets?
