It’s official – we’re still obsessed with all things floral.
Clothes, accessories, school supplies – you name it, we want it. And with everything turning up roses lately (see what we did there?), we couldn’t help but pull together a list of our favorite ways to sport these flowery pieces. Consider this “how to wear floral….made easy.”
Accessorize a Monochrome Outfit
If you’re not ready to go bold when it comes to flowery prints, try incorporating them as accessories. These are perfect for adding depth to a monochromatic outfit like the one below. It’s as easy as switching up your phone case or a grabbing a rosy notebook (we love the one below from Pierre Belvedere). Baby steps!

Mix Prints
One of the most exciting trends nowadays is the concept of “mixing prints”. In the world of patterns, leopard print is considered a neutral – so it’s a natural fit for pairing with a bold floral. If you’re first getting started, balance out a flowery romper with a small detail like leopard flats. A brown rucksack and other neutral accessories finish the look.

Keep it “Fashionably Fit”
Sound familiar? A few weeks back, we posted our tips for maximizing your comfort-to-style ratio when it comes to choosing an outfit. With the “athleisure” trend on the rise, casual attire is becoming a bit more sporty, while gym clothes are getting kicked up a notch. Florals are a natural fit here, right?
We think so.
We put a vibrant spin on our everyday workout gear with a vivid pair of floral leggings. They’re the perfect way to put a little “pep” in your step (or your pilates class).

Floral on Floral
This next look falls in the same vein as mixing prints except, this time, the prints are both florals! The key here is to pick floral patterns of similar hues, but different sizes. The small, indigo roses on the skirt perfectly balance out the larger blue flowers featured on the top. Choose accessories in a complementary color (in this case, bright orange) to add an extra pop of color.
