Last Minute DIY Halloween Costumes That Are Basically Effortless

Let’s face it – we all understand what it’s like to procrastinate! Halloween is already almost here and now the panic of getting together a last minute costume is setting in. Before you go and spend some big bucks over at the Halloween store, check out some of these quick DIY ideas you can throw together last minute.

Crazy Cat Lady

This one is a winner in our book based solely on the fact that you get to wear pajamas all day long. Talk about comfort! Grab a robe, hair curlers, and some stuffed animals and you’ll be good to go.

Robber

Quick, steal this look! Get it? Okay, enough with the jokes. All you need for this one is some black and white stripes, a black beanie, and an old bag stashed with fake money.

Tacky Tourist

It might be chilly October, but you can pretend you’re in a warm paradise! Go ahead and borrow one of dad’s Hawaiian shirts and pair it with a straw hat, some flip flops, and an old camera for a silly prop.

Beanie Baby

Ahh… what a throw back! Luckily, cat ears can be found almost anywhere that sells Halloween goodies. The only work you’ll really need to do is make a heart shaped tag out of red construction paper!

Scarecrow

It is fall, so why not dress like it? You probably already have a flannel shirt in your closet. Just pair it with some boots, a straw hat, and maybe even some face paint to complete the look!

Where’s Waldo

This one is a classic, but it’s so easy. The red and white striped shirt is the main component, but a satchel, some round glasses, and a pom pom hat are the perfect finishing touches. 4
