Where did the time go? It feels like just yesterday we were all prepping for move-in day and the first day of classes. Now that winter break is edging closer, let’s take a look at a few ways you’ve probably changed since the start of the term.
1. Before: Planning a full outfit and makeup each day.
You want to make a good impression, after all.
Now: Rolling up to class in sweats.
Might as well be comfortable while you sit at a desk all day, right?
2. Before: Chatting with everyone in your dorm building and classes.
College is all about making new friends.
Now: Sticking to your core group of friends.
By now, you’ve found the people that click with you best.
3. Before: Having polite conversation with your roommate.
You don’t want to scare off your roomie within the first few weeks, right?
Now: Becoming fluent in sarcasm, pranks and joke insults.
But you do it all with love.
4. Before: Showing up to every campus event.
Getting involved, making new friends…It’s really exciting at the start of the term!
Now: Only showing up to the one’s with free food.
No college student says “no” to free food.
5. Before: Fearing the amount of hard work headed your way.
One look at the syllabus probably had you dreading all the upcoming work.
Now: Actually feeling like you have a firm grasp on your major.
You’re definitely a much smarter student than you were a few months back!
