5-Minute Acai Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Unless you’ve been boycotting social media for the past year, you’ve probably stumbled across a colorful photo of a fruit-filled smoothie bowl at some point. However, these trendy treats aren’t just great for racking likes on your Insta feed (although we’re definitely not mad about that added bonus). They’re also super nutritious!

With health on the mind (okay, and maybe Instagram, too), we decided to grab some of our favorite superfoods and take a shot at a smoothie bowl recipe.

Oh, and did we mention it only takes five minutes? This is all we had to do…

 

5-Minute Acai Smoothie Bowl Finished Product

 

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks (7 oz.) frozen acai puree
  • 1 Cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1 Cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Toppings (we used fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, almond slices, coconut flakes, and a chia/flaxseed mix)

 

Instructions

Step one: Measure out your frozen berries, fruit, and almond milk. Add to a blender and blend until smooth.

 

5-Minute Acai Smoothie Bowl Fruit

 

Step two: Pour mixture into a small bowl, then top it off with your fresh ingredients.

*Tip: We like to keep extra toppings on the side so that you can gradually add more as you reach the bottom of your bowl!

And…Voila! Your delicious smoothie bowl is ready to dive into. Seriously, it’s that simple.
